Axel Kicillof anunció que en febrero llegará un millón y medio de vacunas Sputnik V a la Provincia y adelantó que 350 escuelas se sumarán a la campaña de los 169 hospitales actuales. Sin embargo, el mayor distrito del país apenas aplicó menos de la mitad de la primera tanda de 123 mil vacunas que recibió hace casi tres semanas.
En el primer envío de la Sputnik que hizo Rusia, la Provincia recibió el 41% del total de vacunas que llegaron al país. Según anunció Kicillof, para febrero arribarán a la Argentina entre 3,6 y 4 millones de vacunas y 1,5 millones serán para la provincia que gobierna.
Mientras que las primeras 123 mil aplicaciones serán íntegramente para trabajadores de la salud, con la segunda tanda empezarán a inocular a las personas con enfermedades preexistentes y mayores de 60 años.
Para inmunizar a su población de riesgo, la Provincia debería vacunar a 5,7 millones de personas si se incluyen docentes, personal de salud, seguridad, personas con enfermedades preexistentes y mayores de 60 años.
“Ya tenemos 51.000 vacunados y la cifra sigue subiendo”, dijo Kicillof este martes en una conferencia de prensa en Santa Clara del Mar. El gobernador aseguró que su gobierno ya está “vacunando a un nivel de 10 mil personas por día”.
En los primeros cuatro días hábiles, hasta el 5 de enero, la Provincia había vacunado a poco más 7 mil personas, 1750 por jornada.
Con las 10 mil aplicaciones diarias que se alcanzaron en las últimas jornadas, la cifra indica que para logar el objetivo, se necesitarían 150 días hábiles, mientras que si se suman 350 nuevos centros a los 169 hospitales donde se inocula con la Sputnik V, eso permitiría triplicar el ritmo y llevaría 50 días hábiles de aplicación, poco más de dos meses, conseguir 1,5 millones de aplicaciones.
Si se lograse mantener el ritmo de 30 mil aplicaciones diarias, en 190 días hábiles llegarían a inmunizar a la población de riesgo y esenciales, con al menos una dosis.
